The district administration of Islamabad has made an announcement for the public to take note of According to the announcement, a public holiday has been declared on January 30th, in connection to the visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the federal capital.
As a result of this, all educational institutions and offices, both public and private will remain closed on this day. However, certain essential services such as Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI), Capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), and hospitals will continue to operate as normal.
